Oh how I LOVE it when the Lords teaches me a lesson and does in such a tangible way!

Today for Spiritual Sunday I wanted to just have a simple little picture with a Scripture that you see above. As I sought to find something I liked on the Internet it just wasn't happening. The pictures that I found were copyrighted and not able to copy onto my blog so I thought hmmm, I guess I can just take a picture and do it myself. Then my husband got involved taking pictures, and then my daughter started snapping photos too. She is the one who has Photoshop knowledge and like her daddy, has an AMAZING photographic eye! But here is the lesson along the way.....We were ALSO doing all the tasks that come with a Saturday....laundry, cleaning here and there, and also puting up some new "Uppercase Living" things that I had gotten in a couple of weeks ago. So this "simple post" became quite the involved post to say the least!
Our projects DID NOT go as planned and even became a little frustrating at times when the Uppercase started taking the paint OFF THE WALL!! Then as my daughter was asking me which Scripture I wanted to go with the picture I yelled it to her from the laundry room to the living room and I just had to laugh! Isn't God just sooo wonderful how HE ever so gently nudges you and says...."AHEM, Loren, are you glorifying me right now?" So, here I am sharing my SIMPLE little picture LOL. Thankyou Lord for keeping me on such a short leash!! Also, I am ever so thankful for my family who all jumped in to help me and we all learned even more about this Scripture today :)

Thankful Thursday ~ God corrects

Have you ever heard this before?

"if you don't do what God is asking of you....HE will move on and find someone else to do it and YOU will miss out on the blessing?"

I have, and to be honest ~ I have even "felt" as if others had be blessed for what I should have done in the first place. But, isn't it true that.....

God is patient

God is kind

God is good

How then would a good, kind and patient person say "Well then, if they aren't going to do it then I will just find someone else to do this and they will be blessed instead of you?" Notice I said person....not God

Sometimes I think we Humanize our Heavenly Father to the point that we think HE will do what we might do. Our flesh and human minds would definately tend to be impatient with those who aren't listening or doing things as we think they should or in the timely manner that they should so it would only make sense that we would find someone else to do the task.

If we think about it....the Word tells us Gods is ALWAYS WITH US....HE NEVER LEAVES US, so even when we have turned away or may be in a season of allowing the world to pull us its direction instead of the heavenly eternal road we should be walking, God is still there patiently waiting and allowing us to make those choices, those mistakes. When we turn our hearts back to HIM and repent HE is always there waiting and as HIS word tells us HE will turn what the enemy meant for harm into good ~ He will complete what HE began in us.....

His Word will not return void, His Work in us will not GO TO someone else if it is meant for us! HE loves and adores us and yes we may face consequences, but the journey to each blessing HE has waiting for us is a gift in itself that HE longs to share each and every day. He corrects us because HE loves us!

Moving right along

Happy Wednesday to everyone!

The feeling in my arm has returned and the pain with it, BUT what I can say is this....It hurts so good. I finally "get" what my friends have said in regards to physical therapy...."It feels so good during physical therapy and afterwards!" HUH??? I can remember in the past thinking....Man, I just have to be the biggest baby because it was NEVER EVER something that remotely felt good or that I looked forward to. But today, I definately understand fully what they meant! Thankyou Lord!

Thank each of you for your prayers and I can honestly see a light at the end of this tunnel!

Later this afternoon I will be taking our son to the orthodontist to have braces put on his top teeth....whisper a little prayer for him, if you don't mind :) I will have pics to post

In the meantime, Here is a picture my Honey took of me at physical therapy yesterday while my arm was still COMPLETELY numb! WOO HOO GOD IS GOOD

Surgery this morning!

I pray everyone had a wonderful Easter with your family!! What a beautiful day we were blessed with to celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior!


I will be checking in this morning @6a.m. @ the Hospital, and having the manipulation done on my shoulder. They will put me to sleep just long enough to take my arm and literally RIP IT through the scar tissue. The clinical nurse told me to ask the Anesthesiologist to give me a single shoulder block which is basically a pain block that will last for about 8 hours. I will have to go to physical therapy in the afternoon(plus everyday this week) and they promise it will still be in affect. Please, Pray it is. Actually, according to my clinical nurse the pain will be the worst on Tuesday when the pain block has worn off. With all this said, I am just sooo happy that I will be able to raise my hand up above my head and as the saying goes "NO pain, NO gain" right?


I got some really upsetting news along with finding out they did want to do the manipulation. I had an MRI done of my left shoulder last Thursday and they found it is actually worse than my right one was. I will definately NOT do ANYTHING until I am completely healed in my right shoulder but it just really upset me knowing I have to do this again.

Top Ten for Tuesday

I have a friend who does this for Tuesday and I think it is just so cute....so today I am going to do the same :)

1) Praising God for today Is my day with my Rylee ♥

2) Praising God for the BEAUTIFUL sunshine this week and the warmth....OH.MY. It feels wonderful!

3) I have made a decision and to be honest It is because I am just at my wits end with my shoulder ....So, I have made an appt. and will be going tomorrow to see if I can have the manipulation done on my shoulder. Yep, call me crazy! I had a friend write me an email. She had surgery after I did and she is completely done with physical therapy. She had the manipulation done but said while it hurt something awful it changed everything for the better. My favorite thing she said was this "I can raise my hand and Praise the Lord again!" Oh how awesome that will be! I have missed being able to do this more than I can even say!

4) Finding old elementary friends on Facebook is just amazing! I used to spend soooo much time with this friend ~ Her dad made the.best.bb-q.EVER!!! I am so looking forward to catching up with her :)

5) I am just in awe at how the Lord is speaking to me in the books that I am reviewing this week! WOW

6) I love watching my children with Rylee....they are soo very patient with her and she adores them so much....the feeling is mutual ♥ I can invision the type of parents they will be someday.....sniff sniff.... makes me so proud

7) Wishing I had the energy to spring clean! My friend Darcie has claimed Insanity because she has cleaning like crazy! Now that. I would like to see and catch !!!!!

8) Praising God for all HE is doing in the lives of some of my bloggy friends. HIS Provision for them is amazing, humbling and just so precious to watch! He has provided rent for ShortyBear Denise and her lovebug Eddie YET AGAIN! He is providing a way for our friend Lisa to be able to be treated at MD Anderson for her cancer despite the appeal that was denied her with her existing insurance company! He is with Kat and her recovery to living pain free in the days ahead!! Thank you sooo much Lord ~ Can I just get a Praise and an AMEN!!!

9) Don't you just love smiling! It truly is one of our greatest weapons! Besides the WORD of course! Smile at someone today and bless them!

10) Hoping you all liked the Top Ten for Tuesday! Praying you all have a blessed Tuesday! Love your sweet family today, give them a hug, tell your spouse/kids how much you appreciate all they do for your family, send a hand written note to someone just to say "I am thinking of you!"

So blessed

Last week my kiddos got the lovely stomach flu. I hate that bug! But honestly, we have been blessed because you know it goes around so many times and we haven't had it for quite some time PLUS, my husband and I were spared of catching it. PRAISE.GOD! MY DH cleaned up the yucky stuff when my son missed the toilet a time or two . Ya, HE IS THE BOMB!!! I can handle alot but not throw up :) Let's just say, I take care of handling any animal throw up or accidents so .....we are even, right? ;)

Anyway ~ it was a crazy week to say the least. But, my sweet hubby made this weekend so special for me. Quite a while ago my mom had asked us to be a part of her potluck group dinner because this month she was the host. We had made arrangements for our kids to stay with their sister for the night but after they got sick I just didn't know if it would happen or not. Well, I am happy to say on Friday both kids were back in school and by Saturday were feeling great and back to their happy selves. So we were able to have the night to ourselves and also enjoy being with my Mom and Stepdad and all of their friends....funny and oh so sweet friends! It was an entertaining evening :) My mom just always does a beautiful job and her personal touch on everything shows the love in her heart that she has and makes everything so special!

Unfortunately Mom was the one snapping pics all evening and there isn't one of her :( I will make sure that doesn't happen again!!!!












I am so blessed ~ Thank you honey for a night with you. Thank you Mom for letting us be a part of your sweet friends and enjoying a night filled with love and laughter. Thank you Lord for loving me and blessing me with such a wonderful family!
