Surgery this morning!

I pray everyone had a wonderful Easter with your family!! What a beautiful day we were blessed with to celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior!

I will be checking in this morning @6a.m. @ the Hospital, and having the manipulation done on my shoulder. They will put me to sleep just long enough to take my arm and literally RIP IT through the scar tissue. The clinical nurse told me to ask the Anesthesiologist to give me a single shoulder block which is basically a pain block that will last for about 8 hours. I will have to go to physical therapy in the afternoon(plus everyday this week) and they promise it will still be in affect. Please, Pray it is. Actually, according to my clinical nurse the pain will be the worst on Tuesday when the pain block has worn off. With all this said, I am just sooo happy that I will be able to raise my hand up above my head and as the saying goes "NO pain, NO gain" right?

I got some really upsetting news along with finding out they did want to do the manipulation. I had an MRI done of my left shoulder last Thursday and they found it is actually worse than my right one was. I will definately NOT do ANYTHING until I am completely healed in my right shoulder but it just really upset me knowing I have to do this again.

Here are some pics from yesterday! Have a blessed Monday everyone!

Love, hugs, and prayers!

Looks like you had a wonderful Easter. Everyone looks soo pretty. I have prayed for you already this mornning and I will continue to lift you up whenever the Lord draws you to my mind. I have been reading your blog for a while now, and knew you have been going to physical therapy for your shoulder, but I guess I don't really know why or what haa happened. I thought it must just be an injury since you mentioned scar tissue. But now that it is your other shoulder too? No matter what it is I will pray for you for sure. Lots of love, Debbie

Praying for you, sweet Loren, asking God for a successful surgery, restoration of your range of motion, and complete healing of your shoulders...BOTH of them!

You're in my thoughts and prayers today & all week! Praying for a correct recovery!! Love ya.

Praying for you sister Loren and I know that you will be okay because He is there with you. And I will continue to pray for your postop period. May the Lord heal both shoulders and that you may gain your precious range of motions. Beautiful family! Thank you for sharing your adorable granddaughter and your precious kids! I was praying over your picture for the Lord to protect you all and bless you richly. Take care sister. Love to you.

I love the pictures. Wrapping you in love and many prayers. Asking God to be right by your side through the surgery.

Oh Loren...I can't even imagine! Here is praying it all goes well, and the pain will not be too severe! I am seriously feeling your pain as I type... sympathy pains perhaps. You are so brave and hoping it all goes well after all is said an done.

Great Easter all look so great!

Loren, what a beautiful family you have! I got to this post kinda late in the day...but it's never to late to pray, so I'm saying one for you to heal swiftly! Love you friend.
Kathy C. :)

I am lifting you up in prayer sweet sister that this is just what you needed to get your shoulder back in working order. I know it wasn't something you were wanting but I know the recovery was tough seeing all that you had to deal with when you needed your own physical therapy. Praying that God heals this injury once and for all and you'll be able to keep lifting your arms praising Him for all the goodness He will bring you.

I love you and sending you out some special things to keep you happy! Miss you!

I'm just catching up on blogs~ I was away when we were chatting Sunday and haven't had my computer. I hope all went well yesterday. I was just sick to hear about your left shoulder. My heart dropped when I read that! Oh girl. Will be praying about that and praying for you today as the meds wear off. So sorry you're going through this!

Your family is GORGEOUS. Love all the pics. The one of your whole family is wonderful! Love you.

Love you sweet friend. I'm praying that the surgery went well and that the Lord will heal you quickly and that come tomorrow your pain level will not be like you were told it would be...also that He will heal your other shoulder so that you do not have to go through this again. All things are possible through Him.

Big Hugs,

Loren, thanks for sharing the beautiful family photos!

So sorry to hear the latest news about your other shoulder. I'm praying for you. Heal quickly and know that your blogging friends are praying.

Blessings and love,

Sassy Granny ...

How precious!

I'm sorry about the double-whammie with the surgery. I hope by now you're successfully through round one; soon to be home with your family.

Blessings & quick recoveries,

He & Me + 3

Praying that all went well and that recovery is quick for you. Beautiful family pictures. I love yours and Jenna's hair. Gorgeous. Wanna be my hairstylist?

So glad I popped in to say thanks to you. Now I get the honor of lifting you up to Our Healer. One thing I know is that He intends for BOTH your hands to be lifted in praise to Him, lifted in sweet surrender to Him and we will not let the enemy take that away. Just as Moses' arms were held up, we're holding yours, sis!
love, lisa
PS Darlin' pictures =)
