We were also able to see his plane called Lisa Marie which at the time was quite the thing back in the 60's. He had a bedroom, a living area, a bar which if you didn't know Elvis was not a drinker...He liked gatorade, Diet Dr Pepper and some seltzer water but not really big on alcohol.
This is the jungle room you see the wall is a special indoor waterfall, notice the chairs!
This is the living rom in Blue and Yellow. It had the 3 tv's and the funky monkey! What is that??? LOL
This is Elvis' kitchen that Priscilla said was used day and night. Someone was always up and food was always being prepared
Priscilla and Lisa Marie
Entrance just outside the front door

This graveside is right beside his parents and grandmother. Also Elvis had a twin brother who is buried elsewhere but they had a marker to honor him there as well

This is the room I told you about that has awards since his death and trust me this is only a portion....it is unbelievable!
Wedding pic ....the dress and tux are just to the right....my Iphone couldn't get it all in ...darn!
The hallway of Gold and Silver platinum records....There are hundred of awards!

The Infamous Gold Suit

Hope you enjoyed your tour :) My iphone doesn't take the best pics but you get the idea :)
Love and Blessings!

WOW, this is fascinating. My grandmother loved Elvis. I remember the day he died we both cried so much. I would love to visit Graceland some day!
Great photos!
Now I don't need to pay for a trip to Graceland before I die.
Wow Thank you. I have never been nor seen it only heard about Graceland. Thanks for sharing! Way cool. Glad you made it safe too

Reminds me of the program that comes on CMT. Can't think of the name of it where they tour famous people's houses. They did Graceland a few weeks with Tricia Yearwood as the host. Looks like ya'll are having a great time. Be safe.
Oh I LOVED this. I would so love to see the whole house. Elvis has always been one of my fav's for some reason. I know he was a troubled man, but I LOVED his music and his voice. How fun this must have been. Thanks for the tour. = )
Thanks for the tour; so glad you got to go there.
I'm smiling big!
So are you in Pigeon Forge now??? I enjoy going there...we live about three hours away from PF. We always stay in Gatlinburg, which is just up the road from PF.
If you go to the Tanger Outlet, be sure to stop by the Harry & David store...yummm!
I have never been to Graceland! I would love to go some time!!
Glad you made it, and I can't imagine how stiff you all must have been after that ride! I didn't know that Elvis was a twin. Enjoyed your photos regardless of them being taken from your IPod :)

Jennifer
Thank you so much for sharing the pictures with us! We used to drive past Graceland every Sunday on our way to church when I was little, but never went inside. I'd still love to go! Looks like a very fun experience.
So happy you're doing this with your family. Enjoy every minute. Love you!
Woo Hoo, very awesome sweetie.

WE went there about 10 years ago...I just thought it was so interesting. It's such a big piece of history. I loved the house, it's like you stepped back in time for a minute. Glad you had fun!
