well shoot

What do we do when what we thought was suppose to happen ~ DOESN'T?? This seems to be the theme in the McGhee household this week. Whether it be school plans, work or recovering from this surgery. I was well on my way, doing my exercises, moving around, getting back in the groove and on the day before I was released to DRIVE again I injured myself by using my exercise chair and going a bit too out of range. SOOOO, I am back to square 1. NO activity, doing heat then cold therapy every 30 min. and unfortunately back to the really strong pain meds. I HATE them!!

I KNOW God is with us, and in ALL things GOD works good for those who love HIM and are called according to HIS purpose! EVEN this~ so we will rest in HIM and glorify HIM as we CHOOSE to NOT let these setbacks bring frustration but we have JOY in the midst of our circumstances!

Love & blessings to you all!

Loren, I am so sorry you are back in pain. Prayers for your fast recovery. Hope you can take it easy. I like the orange and brown on your blog design. When did you redo it? Rest and know you are in my Thoughts and Prayers. Blessings,

He & Me + 3

So sorry to hear that, Loren. Sometimes it takes a lot of frustration for God to bring you joy. Praying for you!

Sweetie, please rest that arm/hand fully and may the LORD minister to your entire body, soul and spirit during this time. Setbacks are set-ups for success I always say! Love you girl. Praying for you.

The Real Me!

Oh my friend. I know how frustrating that is for you. Hang in there. It's all going to be okay!!!

What a wonderful attitude. You inspire me! Hang in there. We are praying for you.

shoot, shoot, shoot!!!

knock off the exercising!!! :)

aw, i'm kidding. so sorry you're hurting.

Loren, I am so very sorry for the set back. Praying for total recovery! I am thankful you are finding JOY in the midsts of this. That's what it's all about.

Praying for you!! I'm a little nervous (as you know)! I am in for the same thing in a couple of months. Maybe you were meant to do this before me so I can have someone to depend on. Keep your chin up! You can do this!

I love your attitude that no matter what circumstances you're in, to remain "joyful". Sorry to hear about what happened with your therapy. Praying that your shoulder is healed soon! The Lord comforted me yesterday with that song "Word of God Speak" to let me know that He is indeed with us, going through all these trials with us...If you remember "footprints in the sand" where there's only 1 pair of prints, that was the time He carried us. Thank You Lord! Love you sister Loren. Take care now.

Praying for you.

I am so sorry to hear about your setback. You are trying to help God out too much. Sit back do what they tell you and "no more" and let God bring your complete recovery to you. It is hard sometimes to let other people, including God, do the work while we sit and let them, isn't it? But that is God's plan! So, enjoy it! LOL

Love your new blog look!!!
Still praying for you,
Love, Christy
