Thoughts on Tuesday

One of our Friends had a Senior luncheon at her house for her daughter (who is a Senior) and a group of girls that will also be graduating near the end of this month....SNIFF SNIFF Some of the girls have been friends since they were 2 years old!! It was such a wonderful thing for her to do Don't you think!!!!

My New Neighbor and I have started walking in the mornings and it has been sooo wonderful! A true answer to prayer! She is also amazing at gardening. The first week they were here she had some incredible landscape going on at her house and she shared with me what would look good, drew it out and viola....It is Gorgeous! Her Landscaper worked within our budget and I am just giddy at how it all has turned out!! One thing that is sooo special to me are the roses. That summer 2 years ago when Daddy found out he had Lung Cancer, (and before he got really sick) he and I worked out in his yard day after day planting or picking weeds. Just being together working with Gods Gorgeous creation. My daddy LOVED Roses and the front of his entire house is lined with them. So when I was planning my flower bed I chose some gorgeous rose bushes in memory of him. Every bloom will remind me of him and I know he would have loved to see it and would just love how it all turned out.... So very special "Don't ya think?"

From this:

To This:

This bed is right outside my front door and also the view from our dining room: We also had a pond here but OMG there was a leak so many times and this meant my husband had to physically move all the GINORMOUS ROCKS EVERY.SINGLE.TIM! Not at all worth.... so it had to go! Smart thinkin "Don't ya think?"

BEFORE ~

AFTER:

This is also on the front of the house and is just crying out for something to be planted there!!! "Don't you think?"

So the Guy who did all this planting was able to use alot of what we already had transplanting some and putting in some new as well! He did AWESOME "Don't ya think?!!!"

OUCH!!
Monday I went in for a manipulation on my shoulder. Can you believe it? After starting physical therapy very early after my rotator cuff surgery last October, we were all so certain that I would be able to avoid that with this shoulder. (Praise the Lord I only have 2 LOL) But anyway, I was experiencing quite alot of pain and went to see my Surgeon. He told me I would have to do a manipulation on this shoulder as well. At least this go round I knew exactly what to expect and know that if I want to be able to use my arm the way God intended and get it up over my head ever again in my life ;) then this was the way to make it possible! IT"S DONE and now physical therapy begins again. It is so awesome that I LOVE the girls @ my PT and feel like they are family! So two gifts in one...my arm being in the range of motion it should be and time with some of the most amazing girls you could ever know! Pretty awesome "Don't ya think?"

Our oldest daughter took a roadtrip to Florida. She got everything ready to go and the kids situated in their car seats. After awhile of driving Krista saw this.....Rylee holding Bentley's hand while they drive ♥ Look @ Him smiling :) Just The Sweetest pic "Don't ya think?"

Been thinking and Praying for all the families who have been affected by these tornadoes! So much devastation, yet there are sooo many pulling together, helping one another. Even in this horrible situation they are bringing glory to God. Then hearing the news on Osama Bin Laden. What this has brought out in our Nation .... WOW. I am so thankful to all the men and women who have persevered in this War on Terrorism. I think I will end it with the Status I posted on my Facebook:

Now I lay me down to sleep, one less terrorist this world does keep. With all my heart I give my thanks, to those in uniform regardless of ranks. You serve our country and serve it well, with humble hearts your stories tell. So as I rest my weary eyes, while freedom rings our flag still flies. You give your all, do what you must...with God we live and God we trust. Amen

What about you? What have you been thinkin?

Your landscaping looks fabulous! Very nice. And what a nice thing for your friend to do for the girls.
Ouch on your whole arm drama. LOL!
Oh and you mentioning your Daddy reminded me to tell you that my son (the 8 year old) has been praying for Doug's wife ever since the beginning. Well he prayed of course for your Dad to but has continued to pray for her ever since. When I listen to him pray I am amazed at his memory and perseverance. With that said, I would love to give him a report on her if you don't mind.
Love ya girlfriend.

Well, I am thinking that the senior luncheon was a really nice thing to do! And that the planters look just wonderful! And that may be one of the sweetest pictures I ever saw! And that I am glad your arm is working the way the Lord intended and you LIKE your pt girls! OH! And that you have a wonderful day! HUGS : )

I have been thinkin' that I wanted to get back to that email you sent me, and tell you "thank you" for being a watchful and prayerful friend. Truly...thank you!

Your landscaping looks so beautiful, and how wonderful it will be to be reminded of your dad with every rose that blooms.

Hugs to you my friend.

Oh, that picture of your grandbabies holding hands put the biggest smile on my face. So sweet! Your house and landscaping are wonderful. Love the stone work on your house. The Senior dinner looks pretty fancy and like lots of fun. So sorry you are still going thru the pain and physical therapy on your shoulder. You have such a wonderful attitude and, of course, lots of family and friends (me, me, me) who adore you and are thinkin' how terrific you are!!! Hang in there!
