I hope everyone had a blessed weekend! Here at home we had a couple of the most BEAUTIFUL and Sunny days EVER!! We actually tied a record for a High temperature of 76 in the Month of January. The last time that happened was back in 1947! But as we all know here in Oklahoma, if you are enjoying the weather, hang on just a bit because it is likely to change!! :) and Change it did! We woke up on Sunday to freezing temps once again and they are calling for a Severe Winter Storm. Snow is predicted to be anywhere from 6 to 12 inches!! HOLY SMOKES! and to make it worse they are calling for Ice beforehand! Ok, this just doesn't make this momma happy! One news station even said Blizzard like conditions are possible! SAY WHAT?????
My DH left on his business trip already and will be gone the whole week. Have I mentioned how much I hate it when he is gone :) LOL but I hate it even worse when we have a severe snow storm! He is off golfing and wearing shorts and we are here F.R.E.E.Z.I.N.G ~ Just sayin ;)~
Guess what?!!?! I learned how to make corn bags this weekend! I have NEVER....I repeat NEVER sewn anything! Not a button, not a hem, Nada Zip Zilch!!! But I made about 20 of these corn bags!!! :) HA! I know that so many of you are very talented at the sewing machine and are cracking up at me but it's ok!! I can handle it! Here are a few that I made :)
This weekend was an excellent message at church on Fear! I felt the Lord prompting me to spend time with the kids afterwards and talk to them about their fears. Once they shared their fears, we laid them at the Foot of the Cross and spoke Gods Word over them! It was such a powerful and wonderful time! Truly, God did NOT give us a Spirit of Fear but of Power, Love and a Sound Mind! 2 Tim 1:7
Here are some pics of my Sweet Grandbabies and their Papa! (my honey)
Isn't he soo handsome!
Rylee loves her bruverrr!! :)
Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I pray you have a blessed week my friends ♥

Our weather here has been soooo nice. But unlike yours, it seems it's going to stick around for awhile.
So you want to laugh at me? I have no idea what a corn bag is. LOL! But I'll say it looks like you did a great job on them. LOL! Do you put corn in them? Throw corn at them? Put them on your head while you eat corn? What? LOL!
Love your pictures of your preciousness grandbaby.
Have a blessed day my friend.
HUGS

They are calling for 12-18 inches here! I am NOT looking forward to it. That is so not fair that he is enjoying some warm weather!
Your grandson is precious. I'm not sure what corn bags are?? lol
What a sweet little man! If you have any extra of those corn bags, I know some girls who'd take them!!! lol
We had a beautiful springlike weekend here too in Texas. I am looking forward to seeing if it is going to be as bad as they say it will be here tomorrow when we get up. I guess a snow day once a year is fun!
I am so glad you squeezed in a BEAUTIFUL day this weekend. What a bummer that your hubby has to be gone this week! This is when you need to get snowed in together drink hot chocolate, and snuggle. :-( Nonetheless...snuggle with your kiddos and grandbabies...they will warm your heart up regardless of the weather.
We had a beautiful weekend as well, and although our weather is changing, the change is not expected to be as drastic as what you are expecting.
Your grandbabies are adorable.
I remember the weather changing very quickly when I lived in Tulsa too!! That is Oklahoma weather for ya! At least you got a couple of spring like days out of it!! I can't wait for spring to get here, even a spring like day would be nice. :)
Love those pictures of your grandbabies. They are both so so so cute!!
Hope you have a great week!!
Oh my goodness. Your new little man is so dreamy! What a handsome boy!!! And I love how happy Rylee is with him. You must be out of your mind with happiness.
My poor snowed in friend. I hope you are stocked up on groceries and games. Hunker down and enjoy being stuck at home for me. :) We are having the snow, but of course, nothing stops. So go ahead and heat up a corn bag, put up your feet and think of me. :)
I love you! Sorry your honey is enjoying heat without you. I'm thinking you'll deserve a week to Hawaii after surviving this cold, snowy week without him. XO
Okay, what's a corn bag and how do you make one? Your family pics are wonderful ... your cute hubby, sweet new grandbaby and his adorable big sister! You are very lucky, girlfriend!
I loved this post, and love you sis. You are in my prayers always.
What??? Brian is somewhere warm...that is just wrong! LOL! He is missing the biggest storm ever!! :) Love those grand baby pics. He is precious!! How are you doing? Me...better this week. Trying to stay focused & self-controlled. Love you!

Hi Loren, Sorry about your horrible weather --especially since your hubby is gone.. Be safe and be careful. Hopefully you won't have to get out much. My prayers and thoughts are with you --and others in the path of this major storm.
Love your grands... How adorable.
