Today June 2, 2009

For Today...

Outside my window... The Sun is shining but rain is in the forecast hmmm

I am thinking... about my dad ~ he is going in for another biopsy today and starts with the Mayo clinic tomorrow.

I am thankful for... The Lord, His Word that truly is a lamp unto my feet, and the Holy Spirit that leads and guides into all truth and helps me from myself

From the kitchen... it's summer time and the grill is fired up!!

I am wearing... my jean shorts and "my husband ROCKS" tshirt

I am reading... 1 Samuel, book of Psalms and Where Yesterday Lives by Karen Kingsbury

I am hoping... my dad will have peace this week and that we will get some answers

I am creating... space for the garage sale this weekend .....FINALLY

I am praying... FOR my Dad! Friends and their marriages

Around the house... It's summer ~ Lazy mornings sleepin in, sittin out on our porch talking til late at night, takin walks in the neighborhood

One of my favorite things... This bloggy world! I have met some of the NICEST people, been inspired by many of them too and have recently won a couple of contests! I am so excited to receive the prizes :)

A few plans for the rest of the week... going to Big Splash, Dr T, getting readY for garage sale and praying at all times!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

My daughter and her friend Tyler being OH SO SILLY :)

Hi, Loren:
My book club read Where Yesterday Lives last year. What a good discussion that was.

I can hear your concerns about your Dad, sweetie. I'm praying with you and claiming Psalm 103:2..."who heals all your diseases."

Love,
Mary

Great picture! ;) I have never seen a "my husband rocks" t-shirt... love that! With other 'Fireproof' items from the movie, I have seen "I love my husband/wife" shirts. I think that is so neat!! *Praying* for good news for your dad!
